A Look Inside The Benefit ‘Gals Just Wanna Have Fun’ Make-Up Kit…

I’m no beauty blogger by any stretch of the imagination, but I treated myself to Benefit’s new ‘Gals Just Wanna Have Fun’ Makeup kit and thought some of you might like to see exactly what’s in it, so here goes..

First up: They’re Real! Mascara. Promises maximum volume, length and fit. I’ve never used this before and I’m in need of a new mascara.

Next, my all, my everything: Gimme Brow. Being one of those people who plucked my eyebrows to nothing back in the good ‘ole days, this brings brows to my baldy face. I adore this stuff. The only thing is I normally use Shade 1 and this is Shade 3. It doesn’t look too much darker but we’ll see. I wonder if you can choose the shade if you ask when you’re buying the box?

Next: Benetint Rose-tinted Lip & Cheek Stain. I’m intrigued by this and can’t wait to try it out!

Next: Hoola Bronzing Powder. I’m assuming it does what it says on the tin..

Small brush for the Bronzing Powder.

Next: Eyeshadows in 3 beautiful shades of brown & brushes. The shades are named ‘gilt-y pleasure’, ‘kiss me, i’m tipsy’ and ‘nude swings’. I love browns and they look fab.

And lastly: A ‘Tips and Tricks Instant Beauty’ Leaflet with tips on how to use everything in the kit.

I bought it in Boots, Blanchardstown SC for €39.50. Considering the Gimme Brow I buy is €26 I thought this was good value. I’m heading to the Boots Maternity & Infant Awards on Friday so I’ll use it for that. Can’t wait to try it out properly.

🙂

Ooh, that’s one going on my list. I’ve not used Gimme Brow before – I get them tinted every few months and it does the trick for me, but I missed the whole pluck-to-nothing phase thankfully. I thoroughly recommend “They’re Real” mascara, it’s amazing but it takes serious effort to take off!!!

I have heard great things about the hoola bronzer! This is a great idea for a Christmas present too.
