Calling It Quits And Saying Goodbye…

I’ll keep it short and sweet, mainly because the baby is asleep on one arm. 😂

I’m hanging up my blogging boots. For now anyway.

Social media can be a positive fun place there’s no doubt, but it can also be mentally draining, and for me it’s just time to step down for personal reasons.

It’s been an experience since I started 4 or 5 years ago.

I’ve been on trips I’ll never forget and I’ve met some amazing people.

I’ve laughed. I’ve cried. More than anything I’ve always been mystified at the size of my blogs following and why in Gods name anyone reads what I write. 😂

Anyway, I had bowed out yesterday but realised after all the support and chats and fun we’ve had, it would simply be rude to just disappear.

So thank you. For making Confessions Of An Irish Mammy what it became.

I turned 35 yesterday, and my 35th year is going to be to focus on my family and to take care of myself and to just breath.

Lots of love 😊 xxx

great page and great posts that I could soooo relate to….but totally understand your reasons. I had my third baby on Feb 16th and times goes by too quickly….they grow up in a flash. You are totally right to put social media aside and spend that valuable time with kids and looking after yourself xxxx

Really sorry to see you go but completely understand, just had a new baby last week and I’d forgotten how exhausting just doing the basic tasks and keeping other kids alive is! So enjoy your family life , someday you might come back to it xx
