Netflix: Call The MidWife – Obsessed!…

First of all, we’re STILL watching House Of Cards! I don’t think I’ve ever watched a series for so long! We’re almost finished Season 4.

I said before how I lost interest for a while with Season 3 but this Season has been brilliant!

It’s one we watch together rather than me prizing my eyes open at 1am on my phone in bed binge watching, so we tend to watch an episode a night. We’ll get there!

I discovered Call The Midwife a while ago.

Love. It.!

I binge watched the crap out of it. Couldn’t get enough.

If you haven’t seen it, it’s about life in a poor east end part of London in the 1950’s. Life for pregnant women then, their stories, and the midwives and nuns that look after them.

Maybe it’s being pregnant that drew me to it, I don’t know, but I loved it. It’s fascinating, charming, heartwarming. sad and funny.

I got to the end of Season 5 last week and happily waited on the first episode of Season 6 to start, but there was none. Devo!

Google informed me that it would be available on Netflix in September, but here we are, October 5th, and there’s no sign. Fingers crossed it’ll be available soon!

Another show I have on the go is the cheesiest sitcom ever, Fuller House. *Cringe*

Morto for myself I know. But it’s a little trip down memory lane to the days of Full House!

It’s light hearted cheesy entertainment when you just don’t want anything that you need to really think about.

Now, you have to be in the mood for it. Any sort of sarcastic or dark mood will leave you eye rolling ’til your head hurts otherwise, but if you’re in a chirpy mood it’s harmless fun. πŸ˜‰

Let me know what you’ve been watching! πŸ™‚

Note: I was given a free Netflix subscription in exchange for posts on what we’re watching. All views are my own.
