Netflix: Bloodline Finale – What Did You Think?
Well, did you watch it?
Season 1 had me hooked. It was sooooooooo good. I was gripped. The fact that you spend a good portion of the show not knowing exactly what the hell had happened and waiting to find out was a huge part of it.
It dipped a little at the beginning of Season 2 and then came back very quickly. I knew well we’d be left with a cliff hanger and it didn’t disappoint. I was dying to know how it would all pan out.
So Season 3..
What did we all think?
I thought it was slow to get going, and then it picked up again in the middle.
I got stuck back into it, dying to know how it would end.
Then came episode 9 . The penultimate episode.
What. In. The. Name. Of. Moses. Was. That.?
We couldn’t keep up with it.
We couldn’t determine at some points if something had actually happened or not happened. It was all just… MAD!
John Rayburn was clearly losing his marbles and it was just a bit hard to follow.
I desperately hoped that the final episode wouldn’t be the same.
For me it was a mixed bag.
There was a lot of episode 9’s “What the f*ck was that?” moments but also lots of really good moments.
I don’t know how I felt when it ended.
There was no going out with a bang really. No shocks. No gasps. No, sort of, “Oh My God I can’t believe that” or anything. It just sort of… ended.
Yes they tied up most of it. There was a few things I wondered about but I suppose that’s sort of the point when a show ends at the same time.. To leave what happens to your own imagination.
Kevins final scene didn’t surprise me. He reached a new level of fairly naive in season 3 that left you wanting to grab him through the TV and give him a shake!
I won’t delve into what happens though, just incase I spoil it for anyone, but if you’ve seen it, let me know what you thought!
If you’ve still to watch it, here’s a look at what you can expect –
I’m looking for new shows to watch now having gone through withdrawals of Bloodline and Orange Is The New Black so if you’ve any suggestions let me know!
Note: I was given a free Netflix subscription in exchange for posts on what we’re watching. All views are my own.
